My Favourite Bronzer (atm)

Excuse the mess of the compact, it dropped and made a big mess everywhere.
If I had to choose what my favourite bronzer of all time is it would have to be Nars Laguna. However recently I've really been enjoying L'oreal's Glam Bronze.

It has a slight warm undertone to it which lends its use more towards warming up the face as opposed to contouring. It is going to be one of those bronzers that i perfect in the summer time when you want to make your tan last that little longer on your face or if your foundation is no longer the same shade as your neck then this bronzer would be perfect. There are two shades to this bronzer and I assume the lighter one is there for more of a highlight, but I just swirl my brush in the two and mix them together for a lovely glow.

It is a matte formula which I really enjoy because sometimes I find shimmery bronzers a little bit too much. Because its matte it adds a really nice dimension to the face and prevents me looking flat. The packaging is slightly bulky for my liking and I'm not a fan of the little brush it comes with, but I enjoy the big mirror.

Have you tried a bronzer from L'oreal? I hope you enjoyed reading,

My Favourite Beauty Brands.

When I think about it I don't excessively own products from just one brand, the products in my stash are quite varied. If I had to only use the products from 5 beauty brands for the rest of my life then these would be them:

Nars
Nars just hit the spot for me. Their base products are perfection and although I haven't tried their eye products I can imagine they'd be right up my street, especially after looking at some of the shades they have. Isolde is just gorgeous!

Urban Decay
On the flip side to Nars I have only used Urban Decay's eye products and they are the best shadows ever! The single eyeshadows and the Naked palettes deliver are such high quality and have the right amount of pigment/creaminess/blend-ability, etc etc.

Real Techniques
Their brushes were some of the first brushes I ever used properly and they really transformed the way my makeup looked. The quality and extensiveness of the range is so good, at such an affordable price too!

Zoeva
The Zoeva brushes are ones that I only bought recently, but have used them every day. It is fair to say that they are on par with Real Techniques and offer amazing quality and give such an incredible finish to my makeup. I'm desperate to get my hands on the Cocoa Blend Palette.

Rimmel
I love Rimmel. Their foundations are some of the best in the lower end market and all of their products never fail to disappoint me. I've tried their blushers, mascaras, eyeliners, primers, etc. and they are all great!

So there are my favourite brands. What are yours?

Trends I'm Looking Forward To.

I've never really been one to keep up with fashion trends, however after scrolling through the 'new in' sections of all my favourite shops, its become quite apparent that the trends going into spring/summer are quite wearable and there's a lot I really like.

Cold Sleeve Shoulders
I really enjoy how girly and feminine these can be made to look and although some can look quite childish I think that paired with the right outfit, they can add a little something extra and make the look really complete.

Stripes
Stripes are a staple all season every season with me and although I don't own an excessive amount of clothes with stripes I still enjoy wearing them nonetheless. I've been eyeing up a lot of pinstripe clothing at the minute, especially these trousers from Topshop and think they look quite chic.

Tracksuits
Or more specifically tracksuit bottoms. Generally the only time I will wear tracksuit bottoms are when I'm at home and wanting to be comfortable. However after seeing it become more common, I think a nice fitted pair of tracksuit bottoms with an oversized checked shirt looks really good on a dress down day.

Is there a trend you're looking forward to?

My Face Routine

Over the past three weeks or so, I've been religiously using the same products and have been loving the end result. I've never been massively into primers however I've been using this No7 Skin Illuminator Radiance Boosting Beauty Fluid to add some glow to my face as the foundation I've been using has quite a natural finish and I generally like something slightly more glowy.
I picked up the new re-vamped L'oreal True Match foundation a while ago and wasn't massively keen after the first few applications however I thought I'd give it a try again. I find applying it over the radiance fluid the best way. It is a medium coverage, but does require quite a lot of buffing into the skin.On days where I need some extra coverage, I find adding an extra half pump is perfect for me and it really evens out my skin tone. I really love this foundation at the moment. Once my foundation is done, I use my Bobbi Brown Corrector and my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which really brightens my under eyes.

Once my base is done, I use the Nars Paloma Contour Duo from my Steven Klein palette to add some definition to my face and then warm my face up with my trusty Laguna bronzer. Blush is probably the thing I vary most, however I've been loving Nars Robotic or Nars Dolce Vita(which is amazing!) from the same palette. Depending on my mood I will then add highlighter and it is always Becca Champagne Pop at the minute. It's just gorgeous. To finish everything off I add a smidgen of powder - The Seventeen Miracle Matte Loose Powder . I've really been enjoying the combination of all these products, especially when I have a little more time to do my makeup.

Is there a particular set of products you've been using religiously at the moment?
